Time of Change

The day you stop growing, you start to die. The day you seize to change, is the day you seize to exist. From the time that we are born, we change, grow, evolve, and enter into a new phase of being and existing. Covid-19 taught all of us that change is the only certain thing in any of our lives. People who feared change were forced to face it, because life as we knew it, changed in what seemed like a blink of an eye. Fast forward to 2023, humanity continues to deal with uncertainty of the present, and uncertainty of the future, while still trying to adapt to the ever-changing world around us. If you add transitional changes in life, such as moving, dealing with an unexpected illness, divorce, marriage, and even a new baby it can be challenging and scary. Choosing to embrace change or our perception allows us to make things bearable, enjoyable, or even tolerable. That is a gift we have as humans. It can be scary to shake up the status quo, and embrace the idea of being uncomfortable in order to be a better you or start a new chapter, or face the unknown. It can be scary to embrace changes that come with bettering yourself, growing spiritually, improving relationships, changing careers, or simply starting a new chapter in life. For me, there is an undeniable pull of intention in my heart, mind, and spirit to dig deep, and be gracious with myself as I evolve, and become a better version of me. In 2023, I challenge you to do the same. Happy New Year!

Anything that doesn’t grow, dies Anything that doesn’t contribute, gets eliminated. That’s evolution. If that’s true of the universe. It’s probably true of your life.” Jayson Gaignard
